Show House at St. James, Baildon

Having built a bespoke collection of ten thoughtfully designed and beautifully crafted detached family homes located in the desirable, semi rural village of Baildon (see website – www.hudsonnewhomes.co.uk – for more details), we wanted to present them in the best possible manner. Therefore, we chose HMS Interior Design to completely design and dress the show home.

As with my own home, Heather Shuttleworth immediately understood our needs, designing all the room interiors to enhance and complement the features of the house. She called upon her combined skills in interior design and “Home Staging” to create a bright, contemporary interior that enables the prospective buyer to view the house as a home, without distracting from the features of the house itself … sometimes a difficult balance to achieve. Heather even advised us on the landscaping of the garden.

Even though the property market is going through a fairly torrid time, the need to promote the houses to their very best has never been more important … the competitive landscape is extremely tough so the sensitive design that HMS Interior Design created has brought great benefits in helping to sell the houses on this prestigious development.
